How do I delete a patient record permanently?

Open the patient → click the ⋯ menu → Delete patient. Type the patient’s name to confirm, then click Delete permanently. The patient profile, clinical notes, appointments, prescriptions and uploads are removed from your active clinic immediately. Deletion is not reversible from inside the app — contact support within 7 days if you need to recover.
How to delete
- Open the patient.
- Click the ⋯ menu at the top of the patient view.
- Choose Delete patient.
- Read the confirmation carefully — it tells you exactly what will be removed.
- Type the patient’s full name to confirm.
- Click Delete permanently.
Before you delete — consider export
If you want to remove the patient from your active clinic but keep the records (e.g. for compliance or your own files), export them first. See "Exporting your data" for the patient-level export options.
If the patient is part of a household
Deleting a household dependent removes only that dependent. The head of household and other dependents stay. Deleting the head of household triggers a confirmation about what to do with the dependents — you can promote a dependent to head, or delete all members together.
