Appointments & Reminders

How do I check whether my SMS, WhatsApp, or email was delivered?

Last updated: 2026-06-13

Open Settings → Usage & Credits and scroll to Delivery Reports. Pick the SMS, Email, or WhatsApp tab to see every message your clinic sent, each with a status — Delivered, Read, Failed, Bounced, or Pending. If a message failed, a Refunded badge means the credit for it was automatically returned to your balance. Click any row to see the message preview, the exact failure reason, and the delivery time.

Where to find Delivery Reports

  1. Open Settings → Usage & Credits (you can also click the credit balance in the header to land here).
  2. Scroll to the Delivery Reports section near the bottom.
  3. Choose the channel tab: SMS Delivery, Email Delivery, or WhatsApp Delivery.
  4. Adjust the From / to dates if you want a different window (it defaults to the last 30 days).

What each status means

StatusWhat it means
QueuedAccepted and waiting to be sent.
SentHanded off to the network — not yet confirmed on the patient’s phone.
DeliveredReached the patient’s device.
ReadThe patient opened it (WhatsApp). Email shows Opened instead.
FailedCould not be delivered — wrong number, no WhatsApp account, or carrier rejection.
BouncedThe email address rejected it (full mailbox, invalid address).

The Refunded badge

When a message can’t be delivered, you shouldn’t pay for it. A Refunded badge next to a Failed message means the credit it cost was automatically returned to your balance — you don’t need to do anything or contact support to get it back. Expand the row to see the refund confirmed.

Reading the breakdown

Above the per-message log, summary cards show Total Sent, Delivered, Failed, and Bounced for the window, and a category table breaks delivery down by message type — appointment reminders, balance reminders, payment receipts, follow-ups, and so on — so you can see which kind of message is failing, not just that something failed.

If messages keep failing

  • Check the patient’s number is saved with the country code (e.g. +91 for India).
  • Confirm the patient actually uses WhatsApp on that number — if not, use SMS or email for them.
  • Make sure your clinic is still WhatsApp-connected under Settings → Integrations.
  • If deliveries look stuck despite all of the above, open a support ticket and we’ll check what’s live on your account.
