I’m not receiving my login OTP — what should I do?

Last updated: 2026-05-26

If your login OTP isn’t arriving, wait the full 30-second cooldown before requesting again (repeat requests delay delivery), confirm you entered the right number with country code, and check your phone’s SMS spam folder. If it’s still not arriving, switch to password login or sign in with Google.

Try these in order

Most OTP delivery issues clear up by following these steps in sequence. Don’t skip ahead — the first three resolve the majority of cases.

1. Wait the full 30-second cooldown

After you tap Send OTP, the Resend button is disabled for 30 seconds. If you tap Resend the moment it becomes available, the previous request might still be in flight — and repeated requests in quick succession actually slow delivery rather than speeding it up.

2. Confirm the phone number is correct

  1. Click ← Change number on the OTP screen.
  2. Re-enter the mobile number with the country code (+91 for India).
  3. Make sure there are no spaces, dashes, or stray digits.
  4. Tap Send OTP again.

3. Check phone signal and SMS spam

  • Confirm the phone has signal and is not in airplane mode.
  • Open the SMS app and look in the spam or blocked-messages folder if your phone has one.
  • On some Android phones, OTPs from unknown senders go to the "Other" tab — check there too.

4. Use password sign-in as a fallback

If the OTP isn’t arriving after a few minutes, you can sign in another way:

  • On the login page, switch to the Password tab and enter your email or phone + password.
  • If you signed up with Google, click Continue with Google — no password needed.
  • If you forgot your password, see "How to reset your password".

Still not arriving?

A handful of mobile carriers occasionally block transactional SMS in error. If you’re sure the number is right and you’ve waited several minutes, contact support from the article footer below. We can confirm the OTP was sent on our side and, if needed, help you switch sign-in methods.
