How do I override reminders for one appointment?

Inside the appointment, open the Custom Reminders section, click + Add reminder, set the interval (number + unit: minutes, hours, days), pick channels (SMS, Email, WhatsApp), and save. Up to 3 custom reminders per appointment. They override your clinic’s default reminder schedule for that one visit.
When you would use this
- A patient asked for an early reminder — e.g. 3 days before instead of the default 1 day.
- A high-value procedure where you want both an email day-before and an SMS hour-before.
- A short-notice booking where the default 1-day reminder would fire in the past.
How to add a custom reminder
- In the appointment form, open the Custom Reminders section.
- Click + Add reminder.
- Set the interval — a number (e.g. 2) and a unit (minutes, hours, or days).
- Pick the channels — tick SMS, Email, and/or WhatsApp.
- Repeat for up to 3 reminders. Each has a delete (×) button.
- Save the appointment.
WhatsApp prerequisites
The WhatsApp checkbox is enabled only if your clinic is WhatsApp-connected. See "Setting up WhatsApp reminders".
