How do I apply a promo code at checkout?
Last updated: 2026-05-26
On the payment summary, find the Promo code field (top of the modal). Type the code exactly (codes aren’t case-sensitive). Click Apply — if valid, the discount line appears and the total updates. If not, you’ll see one of: "Code expired", "Not applicable to this plan", or "Limit reached". Only one promo code per transaction.
How to apply
- Open Settings → Billing → choose a plan.
- On the payment summary, find the Promo code field at the top.
- Type the code. Case doesn’t matter.
- Click Apply.
What the error messages mean
| Message | What it means |
|---|---|
| Code expired | The offer’s end date has passed. |
| Not applicable to this plan | The code is real but doesn’t apply to the plan you picked. |
| Limit reached | The code has a usage cap that’s been hit. |
| Invalid code | No such code exists. Check the spelling. |
Removing an applied code
Click the × next to the applied promo code in the summary. The total recalculates without it. You can then apply a different code.
