What are EpikDoc Pro credits and what consumes them?

Your plan includes a monthly pool of credits used by features that involve cloud processing or outbound messaging — voice transcription, image analysis, SMS, WhatsApp. Day-to-day actions (adding patients, booking appointments, typing notes manually, raising invoices) do not consume credits. Check usage at Settings → Billing → Usage.
What uses credits
- Voice clinical notes (EpikVoice) — each recording.
- Consultation summary recordings — each recording.
- X-ray analysis — each image processed.
- SMS / WhatsApp messages sent (appointment reminders, balance reminders, payment links).
What doesn’t use credits
- Adding patients.
- Booking and managing appointments.
- Typing clinical notes manually.
- Creating invoices and recording payments.
- Printing prescriptions, treatment plans, receipts.
- Reading reports.
Check your usage
Open Settings → Billing → Usage. You’ll see the credit pool, how much you’ve used, and a breakdown by feature.
